Sleep Deprivation

"Sleep Deprivation...it really ain't that bad
you laugh whan things ain't funny
and cry when things ain't sad."

That's the chorus of a song I expect to write this week. Yes, boys and girls, it is time once again for Wyoming Bible Camp. Last night we burned brats with about 20 people, watched movies, stayed up far too late talking and goofing off.

Blogs are supposed to be all witty and pithy and eloquent. This morning, I am none of those things. Just happy, in a sort of dazed, dumber than a pile of drywall sort of way. So I will stop here before I hurt myself.

Somehow, that reminds me of another song, a favorite of my students:

(To the tune of the Stars and Stripes trio)
Be kind to your web footed friends
for a duck may be somebody's mother
they live in the bottom of the swamp
where the weather is cold.
You may think that this is the end
Well it is...
